These are meeting or conferences where NFAS is directly involved in the arrangement and where autonomous ships or ship technology are main subjects.
|2019-01-16||INAS Workshop on development of autonomous ships will be arranged the day before the MASRWG Workshop in London, on January 16th 2019, if there is enough interest. The themes are still ebing developed, but there will be presentations from ESA on 5G communication from satellite, report from infrastructure developments in Trondheim and a discussion on teh future content of the proposed ISO standard on terminaology for unmanned and autonomous ships. The workshop is free, but with limited seating. Contact Ørnulf Jan Rødseth if you are interested in attending.|
|2019-06-03||The International Autonomous Ship Summit will be arranged the day before Norshipping 2019 begins in Oslo. It will be a yearly event for decision makers working in the area of autonomous ship or ship technology.|
|2019-11-13||International Conference on Maritime Autonomous Surface Ships 2019 with MTEC 2019. This is the second in a series of yearly conferences on autonomous ship technology and applications. In 2019 it will be held in Trondheim, Norway, November 13-14 2019.|
